For the first time this season, we had five different goal scorers in a game, but sadly it wasn't enough to beat Ferndale, as we lost 6-5.
Monica Samano, Roni Simson, Chaela Brooks, Mikalah Lewis, and Orshena Sorisho scored for the Stallions.

Stallions Win: 2.00 - 1.00
The Stallions capped off a challenging week by coming from behind to beat Auburn Hills Avondale, 2-1. Veronica Simson scored the equalizer midway through the second half, then assisted on Mikalah Lewis' go-ahead goal minutes later. Moni Samano played a great game in the midfield and assisted on Simson's goal.
Chaela Brooks, Faith Ogiemwonyi, Owynn Quintong, and Emily Jamil had strong defensive performances. GK Aleysha Baetiong made 3 saves to secure the victory.
SHHS is now 3-5-2 overall and 1-1-1 in the MAC Gold. Next up is Warren Woods Tower at home on Monday.

Stallions Win: 5.00 - 0.00
The Stallions beat MAC Gold rival Warren Mott 5-0 on Wednesday night. Mikalah Lewis scored 3 goals, while Layna Morgan & Orshena Sorisho each added one. Monica Samano tallied her first 3 assists of the season. Owynn Quintong also added an assist.
Defensively, Shireen Alyas dominated in midfield, while the back line of Emily Jamil, Chaela Brooks, Faith Ogiemwonyi, and Isabella Lekaj played very well in front of GK Patty Lesinski.
SHHS is now 1-0-1 in league play. The next game is tomorrow at Marysville.

On Monday, the Stallions fought Cousino to a 2-2 draw in the first game of MAC Gold league play. Mikalah Lewis and Veronica Simson scored our goals, while Layna Morgan and Athraa Sadiq picked up assists. Aleysha Baetiong made 6 saves. Chaela Brooks, Shireen Alyas, Faith Ogiemwonyi, and Emily Jamil played solidly in defense.
Our next game is at home against Warren Mott on Wednesday at 5:30.

Stallions Win: 11.00 - 0.00
The Stallions bounced back from a couple early season losses to beat Center Line at home today, 11-0. Mikalah Lewis led the attack with 2 goals and 6 assists, while Monica Samano netted 4 goals. Layna Morgan and Veronica Simson each scored twice, with Morgan adding a pair of assists. Owynn Quintong also scored her first goal of the season. Aleysha Baetiong earned her first varsity shutout as a goalkeeper, with Chaela Brooks and Faith Ogiemwonyi anchoring the back line. Many new varsity players saw their first action today.
SHHS record is now 1-2.
