The Stallions completed the 2022 soccer season with a 9-1 loss to Stevenson. Freshman Veronica Simson scored the lone goal off a corner kick. The Stallions finished 10-6-1 overall and tied for second in the MAC Gold at 8-4.

The short-handed Stallions fell to Marysville 4-1 to finish the regular season. Junior Mikalah Lewis netted her team leading 34th goal! Junior goalkeeper Patricja Lesinski made her first penalty kick save! The Stallions take on Stevenson at home on Wednesday 5/25 at 5pm in the district opening round.

Stallions Win: 4 - 3
The Stallions won their 10th game of the season with a 4-3 over Warren Woods Tower. This is the first 10 win season in the MAC Gold or higher division since 2012. Junior Mikalah Lewis scored a goal to push her team leading season total to 33. Senior Alexa Moked and Sophomore Emily Jamil scored their first goals of the season. Freshmen Veronica Simson scored one goal. The Stallions finish the regular season on Monday at Marysville.

The Stallions continued their winning ways with a 7-3 Senior Night victory over New Haven. Junior Mikalah Lewis scored 5 goals to push her season goal total to 32. Sophomore Chaela Brooks and Freshman Veronica Simson each netted a goal. Senior Katie DuBay handed out 3 assists. The Stallions are 9-4-1 (7-3 MAC Gold).

The Stallions played a close and physical game with Lamphere and came out victorious 6-5. Junior Mikalah Lewis scored 5 goals. Lewis season leading goals is now 25. Freshmen Veronica Simson netted the other goal. Freshmen Shireen Alyas, Faith Ogiemwonyi, Roselle Nasser, Divona Noaumi all played a huge roll in the team win. The Stallions are 7-4-1 overall (5-3 MAC Gold).

The Sterling Heights Stallions won the Warren Consolidated School Cup on Saturday 3/26 with a 0-0 tie against Cousino and a 9-1 win over Warrent Mott. Cousino defeated Warren Mott 2-0.
In the Stallions victory, Junior midfielder Mikalah Lewis netted 4 goals and 2 assists. Senior winger Katie DuBay scored one goal and had 4 assists. Junior forward Layna Morgan scored 2 goals with one assist. Freshmen winger Veronica Simson scored one goal and freshman midfielder Monica Samano scored 2 goals with one assist. The Stallions are 1-0-1 on the year and take on Utica Ford Wednesday at 7pm at Runkel Field.
